Eric has been with Numerator, a global data and technology company capturing proprietary, zero-party multi-modal consumer purchase and survey data directly from millions of individual households around the world, since 2019. The company collects 20+ terabytes of consumer data annually and has 6,100 employees. Eric joined Numerator soon after it was formed by Vista Equity Partners and oversaw the sale of the business in 2021 to its current shareholder, Bain Capital.
Previously, Eric was the CEO of a global public company in the tech-enabled marketing services industry, and is a founding shareholder of numerous technology companies. He serves on the boards of Tempus AI (NASDAQ: TEM), Blueprint AI, and the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago, and is also an investor and adviser at Lightbank, an early-stage technology venture fund.
Eric earned a B.A. in English Literature from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Brian brings deep experience in CPG technology, commercial leadership, and client strategy to his role as Chief Commercial Officer at Numerator, where he helps lead the company’s efforts to modernize the market research industry. Since joining the company in 2014, Brian has held multiple leadership roles at Numerator, helping build and scale strategic relationships with leading brands and retailers and developing trusted executive relationships across the industry.
Prior to Numerator, Brian held various roles in CPG Food and technology. He holds an MBA from the Wake Forest University School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
Brian oversees Numerator product suite, spanning the platforms clients use every day, the data processing pipeline behind them, the consumer app that fuels collection, and the AI capabilities embedded across the portfolio. He joined Numerator in 2017 as chief of staff and has since held product strategy and product management leadership roles.
Brian began his career as an engineer before moving into M&A at Deloitte, and holds an engineering degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Texas.
Stephanie leads Numerator’s global legal function with deep experience in data privacy, intellectual property, and technology transactions. Prior to Numerator, Stephanie served as Chief of Staff and Counsel at Rise Interactive, where she focused on commercial contracts, data privacy in ad tech, and change management. Earlier in her career, she was Assistant General Counsel at Chicago Public Schools, advising on technology and intellectual property transactions and student data privacy.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
Tom Canning leads our Worldpanel by Numerator business focused on commercial excellence, customer success and organisational effectiveness. Prior to that he was the Chief Commercial Officer at Zellis, the UK’s largest HR and Payroll platform, and held multiple leadership roles at Flexera a global software and cloud management technology company.
